Supervision and Control – the specifics are outlined in our ISO manual, a copy of which we can provide for you. In addition to our working foremen, our operation managers continuously monitor the work on a regular basis. This ensures that the ‘non conformities’ discovered are resolved immediately. They have the authority to take any action necessary to correct all problems. All staff must fill out ISO sheets daily and submit them bi-monthly. We mail out ISO questionnaires 3 times per year to record our client’s level of satisfaction. |

Experience – Our firm was founded in September of 1961. We have had a steady and profitable track record. The management team consists of three brothers, Robert, Jay, and Warren Saks, who each have at least 25 years experience in the industry. In addition, our operation managers have over 25 years experience. This consistency has fueled our ability to take over several competitors in the business, and to purchase other related businesses as well. Today, there are 120 part-time and over 250 full-time members of our staff.

Selection & Recruitment of employees – We hire people with experience in the industry that have been referred to us by current staff members. Our ISO program details the minimum levels of experience and education required. Management conducts an annual review & evaluation of its staff. New recruits are brought in to work on one- shot specials, where their performance can be closely monitored. All staff must pass an initial ISO information seminar before they are hired. New product and equipment seminars are held either at our offices or on-site twice a month. Due to the relatively high wages (currently @ $13.15/hour), the industry, as a whole, has experienced a greater degree of stability. Workers can enjoy a full time career in this field. However, since all firms must pay equal wages to its staff, regardless of their level of experience, we can afford to be very selective as to whom we hire. We screen out those that do not share our commitment to excellence. Our turnover is relatively low, which is measured every September for statistical analysis in our firm’s ISO audits.

Cost Savings – Our firm has recently purchased the direct sales division and has formed a strategic alliance with Avmor, a world renowned firm based in Laval, that manufactures a complete line of janitorial and maintenance chemicals, floor finishes, and washroom equipment (ie.: Fuller Brushes). They also provide us with WMSS training. This gives us access to many different products in a timely fashion, and at a very important cost savings, which we can incorporate into our pricing.
